im here to rant again..

today's Amanda's last day in our company..
had a mini farewell "party" for her..

for after she leaves, i'll have no one to laugh at my stupid jokes

no more true soul..

It's yet another working Sunday..
dread it..
and the bad news is,
i foresee more working Sundays after Amanda leave on the 24th):

this is simply because there'll be SO SO SO MANY things for me to do then
RAHH)x

that apart..

i seriously think that SCV's 都会台 has got SUPER LOUSY editors..
they err EVERY WEEK!!
it's like they just anyhow cut the scenes, thinking that we wont realise..
treat us audience as idiots huh?

just take today's episode as example..
they cut away the entire portion on 许仁杰's performance..
it's SO OBVIOUS please!

so what's this ?
we pay so much to watch shows that are cut here and there?
nothing more than dumb..

i hope that the telecast of the next season will be better..
i will WAIT AND SEE...

why is it that i cant make any decision for myself ?

why is it that i have to be my mum's and uncle's puppet?

i followed as instructed just so that i wont make them unhappy; just so to "repay" them..

but it seems that i've spoilt them rotten..

they are getting overboard..
Caution: whatever that i'll be typing here will seriouly hurt them if seen..
but this is the only passage for me to do my rantings..

im suffering.. im so sick and tired of all the nonsense;
till the extend that i cant wait to escape from Singapore..
but that will not happen.. for i doubt HKU will accept me..
im just so stucked here in SG to face all the shit..

ya.. i know they meant well..
i know that they just want to ensure that our life will be better in future..
but what they want is totally not my cup of tea at all!

i didnt like engineering course..
i even chose JC just to avoid taking Civil Engineering Course in poly..
but i eventually gave in and made Civil Engineering my dish..
i accepted the fact that i cant study what i like;
i have to study what the adults want me to..

however, i think the adults are going haywire somewhere..
it's said that it's super hard to survive in the buidling trade now..
and yet, they STILL insist me to take up civil engineering..
so what's this ?

whatever it is, im not concerned about that now..
it's not about taking up Civil Engineering since i've convinced myself to like it..
it's another matter that's making me boil..

i cant mention it here cos it's rather sensitive..
so i'll only say if you ask me..

oh well.. i aint schooling..
how different can my days be?

im just like any other typical office girl,
just that i can
(일)drive out to fetch my siblings,
(이)go to office at random timings(with complimentary naggings)
(삼)walk around for no reason when im sleepy/bored
(사)disturb the workers and transform into a kuku when i dont understand what they say
(오)cut vegetables when i cannot find any other stuff to do

okayokay! i aint like any other office girl..
just because im lady boss' daughter~
unfair i know~ bleahs =D
but but but, i ALWAYS finish my things pretty quickly
and find myself doing more & more & MORE!
i should just slow down right ?

today is the SEVENTH NIGHT OF JULY (lunar calendar)

On July 7th the Japanese celebrate The Festival of the Stars--based on the romantic legend of Tanabata. Paper wishes and origami decorations are hung from bamboo tress in honor of the occasion.

History adapted from Wikipedia (:
The festival originated from The Festival to Plead for Skills (乞巧奠; きっこうでん), an alternative name for Qi Xi, which was celebrated in China and also was adopted in the Kyoto Imperial Palace from the Heian Period. The festival spread to the general public by the early Edo period, became mixed with various Obon or Bon (盆）traditions (because Bon was held on 15th of the seventh month then), and developed into the modern Tanabata festival. In the Edo period, girls wished for better sewing and craftsmanship, and boys wished for better handwriting by writing wishes on strips of paper. At this time, the custom was to use dew left on taro leaves to create the ink used to write wishes. Incidentally, Bon is now held on 15 August on the solar calendar, close to its original date on the lunar calendar, making Tanabata and Bon as further separate events.
The name Tanabata is remotely related to the Japanese reading of the Chinese letters 七夕, which used to be read as "Shichiseki" (しちせき). It is believed that a Shinto purification ceremony existed around the same time, in which a Shinto miko wove a special cloth on a loom called a Tanabata 棚機 (たなばた) near waters and offered it to a god to pray for protection of rice crops from rain or storm and for good harvest later in autumn. Gradually this ceremony merged with 乞巧奠（きっこうでん, (The Festival to Plead for Skills) and became Tanabata 七夕. Oddly the Chinese writing 七夕 and the Japanese reading Tanabata (たなばた) joined to mean the same festival, although originally they were two different things, an example of ateji.

Like Qi Xi and Chilseok, Tanabata was inspired by the famous Chinese folklore, The Princess and the Cowherd.
Orihime (織姫, Weaving Princess?), daughter of the Tentei (天帝, Sky King, or the universe itself?), wove beautiful clothes by the bank of the Amanogawa (天の川, Milky Way, lit. "heavenly river"?). Her father loved the cloth that she wove and so she worked very hard every day to weave it. However, Orihime was sad that because of her hard work she could never meet and fall in love with anyone. Concerned about his daughter, Tentei arranged for her to meet Hikoboshi (彦星, Cow Herder Star?) (also referred to as Kengyuu (牽牛?)) who lived and worked on the other side of the Amanogawa. When the two met, they fell instantly in love with each other and married shortly thereafter. However, once married, Orihime no longer would weave cloth for Tentei and Hikoboshi allowed his cows to stray all over Heaven. In anger, Tentei separated the two lovers across the Amanogawa and forbade them to meet. Orihime became despondent at the loss of her husband and asked her father to let them meet again. Tentei was moved by his daughter’s tears and allowed the two to meet on the 7th day of the 7th month if Orihime worked hard and finished her weaving. The first time they tried to meet, however, they found that they could not cross the river because there was no bridge. Orihime cried so much that a flock of magpies came and promised to make a bridge with their wings so that she could cross the river. It is said that if it rains on Tanabata, the magpies cannot come and the two lovers must wait until another year to meet. ---->> heavy rain tonight!! poor thing! ):

The following variation of the story is known in China and Japan: A young farmer named Mikeran discovered on his farm a robe which, unbeknownst to him, belonged to a goddess named Tanabata. Soon after, Tanabata visited Mikeran and asked if he had found it. He lied and told the goddess that he hadn't but would help with her search. Eventually the pair fell in love, were wed and had many children. However, one day Tanabata noticed a piece of cloth which had once belonged to her robe on the roof of Mikeran's hut. His lie discovered, Tanabata agreed to forgive him on the condition that he weave a thousand pairs of straw shoes, but until that time, she would leave him. Mikeran was unable to weave the shoes in his lifetime and thus never met Tanabata again. However, it is said that the pair meet once a year when the stars Altair and Vega intersect.

another month is gone! gosh~
how fast..
didnt update for the past one month partly becos my anti-virus software expired
so to play safe, i better not use lappy..
otherwise it'll cost a BOMB to get it repaired..

well..
been busy recently too..
cos Gerraine (office girl) resigned and i took over her duty..
bahh~~

everyday's like a routine..
wake up, go office, pick bro and sis, go home, watch shows, slp.
it's like im so dead tired till the extent that i just want to go to bed upon reaching home =/

and the [GOOD?!?] news is that Jeslyn Toh is officially SCHOOL-LESS
i just couldnt understand why..
ya.. i dont understand.. i thought i did better but the results prove otherwise

IM BACK after a MONTH! hahaha...

it's SIXTEEN june already -.-

so it was MY BIRTHDAY ONE MONTH AGO..
*laugh my ass off*
i cant believe time is passing by so damn quickly):

anyway, msHOO kind of make me force myself to update.
i wanted to update my blog today, about my birthday
but i felt kinda sick just now..
so thought of dropping the idea..
but xinyi wished me HAPPY BIRTHDAY (belated) in korean!
so i MUST update..

okay~ Jeslyn is 19 and a month old now..
19years old isnt fun at all..
totally NOT fun.. life is so boring..
ok, fine. im the one who made my life boring.. hahs

here it goes..
Once upon a time, on 16th MAY 2009, there is a girl named Jeslyn Toh.
It was her birthday! and her beloved friend, msHOO treated her to a movie at
Tiong Bahru Plaza. it was meant to be only the two of them..

They trained down to Tiong Bahru to catch Angels and Demons.
Jeslyn felt kind of weird cos she hadnt been taking public transport since she got her licence.
so msHOO was like "鸡蛋糕！你还说你没有驾车出门" (something like that)

"when i dont drive, i walk. that's why i say i dont drive when i go out" Jeslyn exclaimed.

moreover, the BIGGEST SUB-URBAN MALL is just 5-10min walk from jes' house
why bother to take bus?
HAHA.
and she hardly goes out you see =D

so they reached TB and msHOO with the ever so small bl**d*r wanted to go to the toilet..
so jeslyn followed her thinking that it's true.
but that was actually to prevent jeslyn from seeing someone she shouldnt..

off into the cinema.. there were two girls sitting right next to jeslyn
she thought that it was one of the girls' birthday as well cos she saw a birthday card
and didnt doubt anything.. she told msHOO that they can change their seats since the cinema
was quite empty.

SUDDENLY, the girl beside Jeslyn turned over and asked "You dont want to sit with me ah?"
OMG~
so the two ladies were AMANDA LEONG AND LIM XINEE!!!
--" <-- Jeslyn was like this!! yes!! like --"ed
HOO XINYI, AMANDA and LIM XINEE were DISAPPOINTED by jeslyn's reaction.
hahahahha!!

sorry loves! i didnt know how to react.

blah blah blah~ the movie ended.

and msHOO continued to keep me in the dark.
she was so secretive please.
and the cap she was wearing made her look like a SPY =X

so we met up with Joflin and went to this weird place "FUSIONOPOLIS"

(and it's not a weird place lah. just me.)
so the girls treated me to a KOREAN MEAL!

and the best thing was that msHOO FRIGHTENED the waiter away!
